BM 1837's design team

BM 1837's design team consists of Bernstorffsminde. It is primarily Mads Sundberg who has designed, with input from both Mette and Morten Sundberg. 

We have designed the beautiful plank table, Moku Ita. We were inspired by all the beautiful furniture and beautiful details we surround ourselves with on a daily basis in furniture production. We had a dream of creating our own perfect design that was robust, airy and simple but still detailed.

As you can tell, we love Danish design, which is characterized by being simple and timeless, but still has small details that stand out and not least furniture and designs that are made to last for decades.  

Moku Ita is a plank table with a classic look. The table is made of wide solid planks and has a two-part table top. The base is slightly V-shaped and can be turned both inwards and outwards as desired. The frame is designed with a slot in the middle that breaks the large surface.
