Lise Vester

Design should have a sharp edge and arouse curiosity, and Lise Vester is always looking for contrasts in her designs. She explores differences in colors, materials and shapes to create visual interest.
Growing up on the western coast of Denmark, Lise Vester is inspired by sailing and fishing trips with her family. This is reflected in the name of her table, 'Keel', as well as in the design, which draws elements from a boat. Just like a boat, the table has its keel, which adds a sculptural design element under the tabletop. The Keel coffee table is an elegant combination of a soft shape on the tabletop and strict lines in the frame, creating a beautiful contrast. The table exudes a surprising lightness while maintaining a solid composition. It has a soft and inviting character with a robustness that gives the design an exciting interplay of functions.
