Church interior design

Bernstorffsminde produces chairs for interior design in Danish churches

For many years, Bernstorffsminde produced the iconic Kaare Klint church chair. Today, they still make chairs by Børge Mogensen, among others. Børge Mogensen for church interiors.

The church chair was designed by Kaare Klint in 1936 and was originally designed for Bethlehem Church. However, it is in Grundtvig's church that has contributed to the chair's iconic status.

Both Bethlehem and Grundtvig's churches were designed by renowned architect Peder Vilhelm Jensen Klint, Kaare Klint's father.

After Jensen Klint's death in 1930, Kaare Klint completed the construction of both churches.

Bernstorffsminde produced the Church Chair 2004 - 2022.
